Scott R. Magee specializes in Estate Planning, Probate, Conservatorships, Closely Held and Family Owned Businesses, Real Estate, Transactional Tax Matters and the Representation of Trustees and Beneficiaries in Contested and Uncontested Trust Matters. He has 23 years of experience planning complex estates and all of the legal, tax and personal issues which arise in connection with such planning. Scott also has extensive experience assisting trustees in the administration of trusts, including contested matters.

Scott received his B.S. Degree in 1981 from California State University, Long Beach, his J. D. Degree in 1984 from Pepperdine University School of Law, and his LLM in Taxation from Georgetown University School of Law in 1985.

Scott is currently the chief financial officer and a member of the Board of the Trustees of the Long Beach Symphony Foundation, legal counsel to the Palos Verdes Peninsula Concours d’Elegance, a member of the endowment committee for the Torrance South Bay YMCA and the head football coach of the Junior Pee Wee Chiefs in the Palos Verdes Peninsula Football and Cheer League.

Scott is a member of the State Bar of California and is rated AV by Martindale Hubbell, the highest rating attainable.
